I've been very busy with 19 credit hours at school, but I manage!
私は学生の日本ごです。私はまあまあです。
My Japanese class is taking up most of my time, any free time I've had lately has gone to studying.
However, there's only 3 more weeks left of the first semester! And I feel next semester will be easier for me, I'll only have 15 or 16 credit hours. :)
Today, my boyfriend agreed to go on a date with me! Our place of choice was the North Market in Columbus, Oh! And there's more than one reason why we chose to go here today!
The past couple days, I've been wearing this "coord" (I use coord loosely because the dress is too short and I dont have socks for it yet). Senpai gave me this bodyline dress a few months ago and, after losing 30 pounds (!!!) I fit into it, and have thusly been PSYCHED.
Today, I'll be reviewing a recently opened shop by the name of ' ShopChic ' ! :)
They opened around the beginning of June I'm fairly certain, and they had a grand opening sale where everything was under $20! If I had $20 at the time, I definitely would've gotten a wig. However, I've also been super into wanting/needing a concealer/contour palette and when I saw they had one for $5 I got it! B) *cheapskate* (lmao not really...well...kinda really...well...whatever let's move on!)
Once upon a time, in the small city of Columbus, Ohio, there was an anime convention. My very first Matsuricon, and only my second con ever. As I wondered the then tiny artist alley with my then best friend, we stumbled upon a booth that was much much cuter than the rest. We had found MoogleGurl's booth! She had the cutest pokemon pins and fandom prints! We each bought something and continued to wonder around.
We started going to a lot of cons. Our first year of cons, there was two we went to. Our second year, there was eight. And no matter where we went, we always saw MoogleGurl! But one day it changed, we saw her, but she didn't have any fanart anymore! Now, she was Tasty Peach. And boy did that take off super fast. Now, even though there's not much staff, Tasty Peach is literally EVERYWHERE.
I'm so excited to share with you that I've FINALLY gotten some lush in my hands!!
Two bath bombs and a shampoo bar, I'm too excited to write a proper opening so lets just jump right into it!
Sakura:
I happened to be a few cities away from home today and found out there was a Lush nearby, I've been dying to try out some Lush ever since EmmaBlackery started talking about Lush on her channel. Sakura was my very first bath bomb and, at first, I was a little disappointed because of how soon it fizzed out and the fact that nothing colourful happened. However, the smell lasted a while and it was so nice! It also left my legs feeling so so so smooth! I recently had an x-acto blade accident on my leg and haven't been able to get my upper leg too wet. With that came stitches and so because I was covering them with bandaids every day for two weeks, it left my skin around the stitches nearly raw from having to change bandages 2-3 times a day. After my bath almost all the redness and dryness is gone from that area. Absolutely will use again to get smooth smooth legs <3 uwu
Rose Queen:
So, I'm pretty sure the bomb I had was Rose Queen, but at the store it was labeled Rose Bombshell in the crate it was in. Anyways, where to start with this one? The moment you drop it into the tub the water starts turning pink which is exactly how I pictured my bath bomb experience to go. The smell is beyond amazing, I will say though that leaving it sat on my living room table is what made me take my bath. It's so strong when it's still in the solid undissolved form. If you have a storage away from where you spend most of your time or if strong smells don't bother you then you won't have a problem though :) My legs feel super super soft and wonderful once again as well!! The scent also lingers in a wonderful way on the skin. I will say, the main flower and tinier rosebuds should be pulled out before draining the water. All the petals and stuff go down just fine though.
I thought this video of them showing you how it's made was super super cool, so it's here for you to watch! :)
New:
I've been eying this product literally forever and I was so happy when I found it at the lush store today! I actually looked forward to showering and washing my hair for once. It felt a little rough, but really love it. My hair feels soooo soft now! I also love the smell that it has and how smooth it lathers up. I can't wait to keep using it and see how my hair improves. :) I got this one specifically for growing out my hair since I had to cut an awkward amount off. My hair is super long on one side, super short in the back, and in the middle on the other side now! I'm hoping New! will help grow my hair out so I can get my hair cut to one length sooner than later :)
Thanks for reading!! I hope you enjoyed this post, I can't wait to get more Lush stuff!! Would anyone be interested in seeing posts on my future products? :)

Since we've last met, I've gotten SEVEN stitches in my leg!! It's awful and painful and I hate it. Also, this was the result of me being an art student and having xacto blades in my bag. (Although, my design teacher told me that if anyone asked, I should say I got attacked by a shark. *shrug*)
I'm SO EXCITED for this post!! I stumbled across this lovely company on reddit and I was instantly in DIRE NEED of the Iwatobi eyeshadow collection! Before we get onto our swatches and such, here's a bit more about the items I've got:
Name of Shop:
Siren Song Cosmetics
"Siren Song Cosmetics is a small, indie mineral cosmetics company that I started in early May, 2014. The idea is to combine my love makeup with all the things I'm passionate about: science fiction, anime, mythology, video games, etc. Mainly though, I just really, really like mermaids. Even if you aren't into the references, I hope the quality and colors speak for themselves. All my products are gluten-free (no cross contamination with gluten either in our lab or in labs of our suppliers), vegan (nothing animal derived like carmine or beeswax) and cruelty-free. That means no testing on animals!"
Whilst on the search of expanding my closet, I came across a store on Storenvy called Keutokki!! It's so super cute!! I didn't order any clothes this time, just a headband and a hat. So here are my reviews on those :)
Now I've had these Nyx items sat around for a little bit and have just now found time to do this review/swatches post. I have misplaced my pink bedsheet though, so bare with me for my photos today! haha! :)
I ordered a few Mary Kay items as well, and instead of making a new post I've decided to just make one post! :)
Around the beginning of the year, Honey Color was having a contact sale where a bunch of contacts were 50% off! So, I got some friends together and we put in a sizable order. To get free shipping, you had to spend $80 in contacts. That was such a pain trying to get to the $80 mark, if I'm being completely honest. However, $20 shipping for a $12 pair of contacts wasn't really working out for me, so we went ahead and did $80 worth of half off contacts!
This review will only cover the contacts I got for myself!! Anyways, let's get to it!
